Zack and I made a trip to Utah for the weekend to get away from home work stresses and visit a few temples. Aunt Linda and uncle Hal were gracious enough to let us stay with them while we made our visits.
Our first stop on Friday after classes was the salt lake temple. It was beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the amazing work that was all done by hand with so much detail.

On Saturday we headed down to Provo. Zack had been to this temple before but I wanted to go while we were in town visiting friends. To be honest, I always thought this temple was so plain looking compared to all the others but it is so much prettier in person. The inside is incredible. I loved the chandelier. It was shaped like a star.
'There is a funny story about this temple. We got lost on our way to Aunt Linda's and ended up at the Jordan river temple. When we found that Mt. Timpanogos was closed for cleaning, we decided to go back to Jordan river. You cant tell in this picture but the stain glass windows look amazing at night. I wish we took pictures the night we got lost. Also due to the elderly community, there are escalators in this temple. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Logan was our last stop on our travels home. I think this one looks the most like a castle out of all the temples. It was very pretty and unique inside as well.

I love how all of the temples look so different inside, and yet the same. We very much enjoyed the spirit in each one of them and look forward to seeing the other Utah temples on future trips.
All in all it was a great weekend.
