Zack was very excited to come home from work and have pie
so he went to the store to get ice cream to go with it.
I now work at a pie place which has got me thinking a lot about pie and how I want to be one of the cool moms one day that knows how to make pie and all the cool desserts, so I decided to start early. I am not going to be a mom for a few years yet but there is no harm in starting.
With some advice and ingredients from Heather Tanner and my mom, I made my first pie. I found an outline for a recipe online of what I wanted to make. This is the finished product of how I made it.
Sour cream peach pie.
1 1/4 cup sour cream
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 liter drained cut Peaches (Mom's canned peaches)
It turned out perfect. I don't mean to brag but MAN IT IS GOOD!!!!
