ROTC

As most of you know, Zack has been planning to join the ROTC program so that he can be a physical therapist for the military. Some of you may also know, our current president just cut half a trillion dollars to the military thus making the program more competitive and offering less benefits. After a lot of discussion we decided to hold off for now. I know we said this last year but we thought this may be a better plan for graduate school. Because even if he did the ROTC here, he wouldn't get benefits until he graduated from graduate school anyway. Both of us feel better about this and like the idea of having the option later rather than getting locked in to a contract right now with so much uncertainty. Also we notice that the ROTC programs at the graduate schools we are looking at, are all Air Force instead of Army, which we think will be a bit safer in a lot of ways, although he will not be officially in the military until he is a licensed Physical Therapist. We just wanted everyone to know what our plans for the future are looking like. If you have anymore question feel free to call either one of us.
