Our ward went camping this last weekend. We had a lot of fun getting to know people and spending time outside. We were however unprepared. Zack had a tent but it was very old and seemed to get some use while he was on his mission, but was not taken care of properly. It had a few holes and moldy spots but worst of all it was missing the rain fly. Thankfully it did not rain on us this weekend. Another thing we were not prepared for was staying warm. We didn't have sleeping bags so we decided blankets would do the trick but that didn't work as well as planned.
This coming August is the Donkin family reunion in the red wood forest. And due to the fact that both of us are recreation majors and love camping, we decided to invest in some new things. We shopped around to see what deals we could get and Sportsmens warehouse was the best. Two sleeping bags and a tent for $100.
We were so excited we set it all up in our living room right when we got home. And slept in it that night
